Pollini
London

About
“When I began working on Pollini, I was deeply inspired by the sculptural architecture of Ladbroke Hall and by the extraordinary cultural energy that surrounds it. The Carpenters Workshop has created a wonderful thing here: a place of gathering - a true cultural centre - where art, music and ideas intersect, and where a community of curious, engaged people naturally forms around shared experiences and creativity.
I wanted the interior to feel like a retreat within the city: intimate yet expressive, layered with shadow, texture and warmth. Italian cuisine and the spirit of Italian hospitality were central to this vision and the idea of generosity, of slowing down, of creating a space where people feel instantly welcome and encouraged to linger.
For me, great design should be felt before it is noticed. Pollini is about creating an emotional connection, a place that holds you, uplifts you, and quietly draws you back, time and time again.”
